Nevada Mom, Mallory Angel Armijo, Killed by Store Clerk for Taking Salad without Paying

A cashier at a convenience store near the Las Vegas strip allegedly shot and killed a mother of four, Mallory Angel Armijo, who had stolen a salad because she couldn't afford to pay for it, according to claims made by the victim's family.

The incident took place around 12:16 a.m. on Friday at a 7-Eleven. Rachel Wright, Armijo's sister, revealed in a recent interview that the deadly confrontation occurred over the stolen salad.

Armijo had taken it for her hungry girlfriend as they lacked the funds to purchase it.

Outside the store, an argument ensued between Armijo and the cashier, leading to a physical altercation over her purse.

According to Wright, the cashier knocked Armijo to the ground, prompting a bystander to intervene and tell the cashier to back off.  As Armijo walked away, she was shot three times in the back.

The Victim

Armijo was rushed to Sunrise Hospital but tragically succumbed to her injuries. Wright expressed her grief and emphasized that while stealing the salad was not justifiable, her sister didn't deserve to lose her life over it.

Armijo was a loving mother of four, and her family is still in shock over the senseless crime.

Wright further alleged that the cashier, whose identity hasn't been made public, had a criminal history, including incidents such as throwing hot water on someone and wrestling a woman in a parking lot.

Despite these documented incidents, he was still employed at the convenience store until his violent outburst, which tragically claimed Armijo's life.

The community has come together to remember Armijo, reflecting on her kind and forgiving nature.

She was known for her loving spirit and willingness to forgive others.

While the healing process will be difficult, her memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
