Jerez School Rampage: 14-Year-Old Student's Violent School Attack in Spain

 


A distressing incident unfolded in a Spanish school, where a 14-year-old student is reported to have unleashed a violent attack on teachers and fellow students.

According to reports, the young student brandished a large knife from his backpack and initiated a frightening assault on anyone in his path as classes commenced. His actions resulted in him stabbing his teacher in the eye and also injuring two other students.

Subsequently, the teenager attempted to take his classmates hostage, prompting school staff to intervene and subdue him. The horrifying rampage occurred at the Elena GarcĂ­a Armada Institute in the southern Spanish town of Jerez at approximately 8:30 am on September 28.


One particularly harrowing detail is that a female teacher, who sustained a stab wound to the face, required immediate medical attention and is currently in a critical condition. During the chaos, another staff member, unharmed, courageously came to her aid.

As for the condition of the other victims, their status remains undisclosed at this time. In response to the attack, the school was evacuated, and the alleged assailant is now in police custody.

Notably, the young individual in question, whose identity has not been disclosed, is reported to have autism according to local sources. 

In the wake of this traumatic incident, emergency services swiftly arrived at the scene to provide medical care to the injured, while anxious parents anxiously waited for updates outside the school gates.
