A 19-year-old woman is missing after she was last seen leaving her job at AutoZone on Friday night. Melanie Stephanie Rios Camacho was last seen at the store on Gateway Drive in Madera around 10:15 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 24.
Camacho told her co-workers and another friend that she was going to meet her ex-boyfriend after work. Her mother reported her missing after she did not come home Friday night.
Police found Camacho's car abandoned and on fire near a farm on Saturday morning. The vehicle was found near Avenue 14 and Road 8 in Madera.
Camacho is 4-foot-11-inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and wears braces on her teeth. When she was last seen Friday, police said she was wearing a gray shirt with the AutoZone logo and possibly a Nike sweater with a zipper. She was also wearing black pants.
