Authorities in Florida are Conducting an Investigation Following The Stabbing Death of a Man During a Brawl Inside Publix



In central Florida, the local authorities are reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying individuals allegedly engaged in a fatal altercation inside a Publix grocery store on Thursday. 

The male victim, whose identity remains unknown, entered the Publix located in Polk County's Northgate Shopping Center around 1:35 p.m., closely followed by a group of men, as reported by the Winter Haven Public Safety Department.

An altercation ensued between the victim and the group, escalating into a physical fight that resulted in the victim being stabbed. 

Subsequently, the group of men hastily exited the store, fleeing the scene. Details regarding the motive or the events leading up to the confrontation are currently unavailable.

The victim was brought to the Winter Haven Hospital Emergency Department entrance, where he was pronounced dead. 


Notably, the individual who transported the victim did not remain at the site, according to the police.

On Thursday night, Winter Haven authorities shared images of the group believed to be involved in the altercation on Facebook.
