Mother, Wei Fen Ong, Allegedly Stabs Husband, Then Drives Her Car into A Lake with Her Three Kids Onboard

A mother from Texas got arrested after a shocking incident where she allegedly stabbed her husband and then drove her three kids, all under 13, straight into a lake. 

Wei Fen Ong faced charges for multiple felonies, including three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of aggravated assault on a family member causing serious injury, according to Law&Crime records.

This intense situation unfolded around 7:48 a.m. at a residence in Carrollton, north of Dallas. 

The Carrollton Texas Police Department rushed to the scene following a 911 call reporting a man stabbed by his wife. Though the victim's identity wasn't disclosed, he was immediately taken to the hospital and was expected to recover.

Concurrently, the Lewisville Police Department responded to another distress call related to this incident. There, they found Ong had driven a vehicle with her three young children into a lake near Hebron Parkway. 

All four individuals were rescued and transported to the hospital. While the oldest child managed to escape the vehicle before help arrived, the other two were pulled out unconscious. Thankfully, prompt medical attention revived them, but their condition remained critical.

Witnesses, like Wallace Rose, initially thought it was an accident until the severity became apparent. The motive behind these distressing actions hasn’t been disclosed by the authorities.

Currently, Ong is in custody with a bond set at $1.8 million.
