The Florida Mother Discovered Dead in a Daytona Beach Apartment Fire Allegedly Suffered From Approximately 100 stab wounds


In a heart-wrenching incident that has left the community in shock and disbelief, a Florida mother was brutally stabbed to death and her apartment set ablaze, leaving her three young children to battle for their lives amidst the flames. 

Den'Jah Moore, a loving 30-year-old mother, was found with multiple stab wounds and severe burns in her Daytona Beach apartment on November 21. Her 10-month-old son tragically succumbed to his injuries, while her 4-year-old and 5-year-old children remain in critical condition.

Investigators have arrested Charles Ivy, 34, as the prime suspect in this heinous crime. Ivy faces two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of attempted felony murder, and arson. 

According to authorities, Ivy admitted to visiting Moore's apartment on November 21 at 11 p.m., and the fire is believed to have started between 11:32 p.m. and 11:42 p.m.

Daytona Beach Police Chief Jakari Young described the incident as the "most horrendous and horrific crime" he had ever encountered, highlighting the devastating impact on Moore's family and the community. Young also revealed that Ivy is believed to be the father of at least two of the children.
