A tragic incident in JataĆ, Brazil, unfolded as 23-year-old Ielly Alves was fatally shot by her boyfriend, Diego Fonseca, 27, during a violent altercation on November 4. Alves managed to capture the horrifying attack on her phone's video.

The footage, taken moments before the fatal shooting, depicted Fonseca standing near a window, brandishing a weapon at Alves. Alves' voice could be heard in the recording, seemingly encouraging Fonseca's actions.

Following the shooting, Fonseca hastily transported Alves to Hospital des Clinicas, where she unfortunately succumbed to her injuries before receiving medical attention. Subsequently, Fonseca was apprehended and charged with murder, with a 380 caliber pistol recovered near the hospital, close to his parked car.

Alves' mother, Olesiane, recounted how Fonseca assured her he would seek justice for her daughter, expressing his determination to find those responsible. Olesiane revealed that Alves had intended to end her relationship with Fonseca, with the decision made clear to her mother just hours before the tragic event.

Olesiane also disclosed instances of prior physical violence, citing an incident in 2022 where Alves required stitches on her arm after an assault by Fonseca. Another altercation in the previous year reportedly involved Fonseca assaulting Alves upon discovering her communication with an ex-boyfriend.

The heartbroken mother expressed her concerns over the tumultuous relationship, recalling several instances of verbal disputes resulting in Alves' visible injuries.
