Estranged Husband, Cory Hill, Faces Murder Charges For Allegedly Killing Wife, Concealing Body in Storage Unit

Cory Hill, 51, Faces Murder Charges For Allegedly Killing Wife, Shakeira Rucker. He is also charged with attempted murder after he allegedly shot up his girlfriend's house hours after police say he killed Rucker.

Rucker was last seen on November 11 and was not found until a week later on November 18 when detectives discovered her body in a storage unit in Apopka, Florida.

An autopsy revealed that Rucker had died from multiple gunshot wounds.

Hill was arrested on November 12 for attempted murder after he allegedly shot at his ex-girlfriend and her family. He has not cooperated with detectives regarding the Rucker case, authorities said.

If Hill is found guilty of killing Rucker, it will be his second murder conviction.

More than 30 years ago, Hill was charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of an 18-year-old man in Suffolk, Virginia. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison for that crime.

Rucker's family is devastated by her death and is calling for justice.

"He needs to go down for everything, everything he is," Clarence Thorton, Rucker's brother, told WFTV. "My sister should have never been in that situation. Not in a million years I would have thought my sister (to) ever been in that situation."

Rucker leaves behind four children, ages 7, 9, 16, and 18.
