Florida Man Arrested for Allegedly Stealing Wine and Shooting at CVS Employees

A 30-year-old Florida man named Dylan Mosley was recently arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including armed robbery, discharging a firearm in public, attempted second-degree murder, and aggravated assault with a firearm.

The incident occurred shortly after 1:45 AM on Monday, at a CVS Pharmacy located at 7300 Curry Ford Road in Orlando. According to an arrest affidavit from the Orange County Sheriff's Office, Mosley allegedly entered the store, grabbed a bottle of wine, and walked out without paying.

Two employees confronted Mosley as he left the store. One of the employees asked him if he was going to pay for the wine, and that's when Mosley allegedly turned around, pulled out a semi-automatic handgun, and fired a shot in their direction.

In the affidavit, a deputy stated that they heard two separate gunshots.

"I felt like he was trying to kill us and pointed the gun straight in our direction and shot," one of the CVS employees said, according to the affidavit.

Both employees expressed their desire to press charges against Mosley.

Responding to the area, deputies located Mosley with the stolen bottle of wine, valued at $15, and a 9mm handgun. After both employees positively identified him, Mosley was taken into custody and transported to the Orange County Jail, where he remains on a $30,500 bond.

This incident serves as a reminder to always be vigilant and aware of your surroundings, especially when confronted with potentially dangerous situations. It is important to prioritize your safety and avoid engaging with individuals who may pose a threat.
