43-year-old Douglas Moore was arrested and charged with several counts of aggravated assault with a firearm, reckless firearm discharge, and using a firearm while intoxicated. The incident happened on Saturday evening as the Middleburg Christmas Parade was in full swing.

Deputies say Moore got angry at the parade activities and started firing his pistol several times. He walked onto private property and shot towards a group of people, but luckily he didn't hit anyone.

When deputies arrived, they found Moore at the property line and demanded he get on the ground. He refused, so they tackled him and took him into custody. He was reportedly slurring his speech and had bloodshot eyes, suggesting he was intoxicated.
