Repeat Arrests for Connecticut Woman, Alyson Cranick Accused of Child Sexual Assault and Inappropriate Communication on Snapchat
A Connecticut woman named Alyson Cranick has been arrested three times in a month on serious charges related to alleged sexual misconduct involving minors. These charges include sexual assault of an 11-year-old boy and inappropriate communication with a 13-year-old girl on Snapchat.
The allegations against Cranick stem from incidents that occurred in the summer of 2022 and November 2023. In the summer of 2022, Cranick is accused of sexually assaulting the 11-year-old boy on multiple occasions. These assaults allegedly took place after the boy would sneak out of his house late at night.
In November 2023, Cranick was arrested for the first time after a mother reported that Cranick had been communicating inappropriately with her 13-year-old daughter on Snapchat. Cranick was released on bail but was arrested again two weeks later after violating the terms of her bail, which prohibited her from having unsupervised contact with minors.
Cranick was arrested for the third time on November 28th after police learned of her alleged Snapchat communication with another 13-year-old girl. This time, Cranick was denied bail and is currently being held at York Correctional Institution in Connecticut.
Cranick has denied all of the allegations against her. Her attorney has maintained her innocence in court. Cranick's bond is currently set at $1.5 million.
