Wiley Belt and brothers Leonard "Dwight" Banks and Bobby Lee Banks got arrested for their connection to the 1989 death of Kelle Ann Workman in Missouri. She was last seen mowing a lawn in a rural cemetery one summer evening, and a week later, her body was discovered in a creek about 10 miles away.
For over 30 years, Kelle Ann Workman's death remained a mystery. However, this week, authorities revealed the arrests and indictments of three men on charges including first-degree murder, forcible rape, and first-degree kidnapping.
The arrests were announced at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, close to where Workman vanished. Douglas County Sheriff Chris Degase expressed hope that these arrests would bring justice for Kelle and closure for her family.
The suspects, Wiley Belt and brothers Leonard "Dwight" Banks and Bobby Lee Banks, had been under suspicion since the case began.

According to reports, Bobby had allegedly failed a polygraph test in 1990, and Dwight was sought for DNA evidence nine years later, but no conclusive findings were obtained.
Workman, described as a quiet woman, lived with her parents and worked around Dogwood Cemetery, mowing grass for about three years before her disappearance.
The three men were held on a $250,000 cash-only bond, with no immediate listing of lawyers. Douglas County Prosecuting Attorney Matthew Weatherman commended the individual who provided crucial information, stating it was as solid as it could be for a case from 1989.
