A beloved young couple in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, met a tragic end Thursday night when they were fatally shot inside the Sports Page Bar. Gina Weingart, 37, and Emerson Weingart, 33, were found dead at the scene, leaving their families and community reeling.
The chilling event unfolded around 12:11 am, when a call reported gunshots and a person down at the establishment. Responding officers from the Elkhorn Police Department and Walworth County Sheriff's Office discovered both Gina and Emerson deceased upon arrival.
The investigation into the double homicide is ongoing, with no arrests made yet. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward, as the bar was open with potential witnesses present.
