Four people were arrested in New York after parts of two bodies were found scattered across a town. This all happened over a week.
The police say the people arrested, Steven Brown, Jeffrey Mackey, Amanda Wallace, and Alexis Nieves, tried to stop the investigation, get rid of evidence, and hide the bodies.
It all started last week when a student found a severed arm on her way to school. She told her dad, who called the police.
The police found more body parts, including a leg and another arm, near where the first arm was found. These body parts belonged to a man.

Later, in a different park a few miles away, the police found more body parts. These parts belonged to the same man and also to a woman. The woman has been identified as 59 years old, and the man is believed to be 53 years old, but the police aren't sure yet.
The police haven't said why this happened or given out any more information about the victims.
The four people arrested will go to court on March 6th. We don't know yet if they have lawyers.
