A scary event happened on Saturday morning in downtown Manhattan (lower Manhattan) at the Fulton Street subway station.
According to the New York City Police Department (NYPD), a woman was hit by a southbound 3 train.
The police got a call around 10:25 am about a woman on the tracks. When they arrived, they found a 29-year-old woman who was conscious and talking.
Investigators believe she was pushed onto the tracks.
Luckily, the woman was alive and taken to Bellevue Hospital by ambulance. However, news sources like WABC-TV and The New York Post reported that she lost both of her feet in the accident.
There are reports that the woman's boyfriend might be the one who pushed her.
Witness sources told news outlets that they saw the couple arguing before the woman was shoved. The man who allegedly pushed her was described as wearing a blue shirt, jeans, and a dark jacket.
The police are searching for him and looking at security cameras to see what happened.

Because of this incident, there were big delays on the subway for a few hours.
The southbound 2 and 3 trains weren't running for a while, and other lines like the 4 and 5 were also affected. The subway company (NYCT Subway) posted updates on what they called "X" (formerly Twitter) about the delays.
By 1 pm, things were slowly getting back to normal. The 2 and 3 trains were running again, but not stopping at Fulton Street.
Trains were still running between Manhattan and Brooklyn, but there might be some leftover delays.
