Deputies in St. Francis County, Arkansas, are on the hunt for the person responsible for the tragic death of a local woman whose body was found in a discarded plastic container along a rural road.
A group of boys stumbled upon the container while out riding their four-wheelers near County Road 731, just off Highway 334, on February 20. They immediately alerted the authorities, who later identified the victim as Troy Alexandra Strope, a 42-year-old resident of Forrest City, Arkansas.
Law enforcement officials are treating the case as a homicide, but so far, they have limited leads. They are reaching out to the public for any information that could help solve the mystery surrounding Strope's death.
If you have any details about Strope's activities or interactions leading up to her death, please contact the St. Francis County Investigators Division. Remember, all calls will be kept confidential. You can reach the sheriff’s office at 870-633-2611.

On Tuesday, authorities conducted a search of a residence in Forrest City, where they discovered forensic evidence and a potential person of interest. However, no suspects have been publicly identified or discussed by investigators.
Strope's goddaughter, Ahlexyas Parham, fondly remembers her as a vibrant and caring individual who touched the lives of everyone she met. Despite her occasional disappearances, Strope's absence for an entire month was unusual and concerning to those who knew her well.
Parham reflects, "She was full of life, love, and laughter. She didn’t care what people thought about her. I don’t think a lot of people realized it but every person she came across in her life, she taught them something."
This tragic incident serves as a reminder to cherish the people in our lives and to remain vigilant in our communities.
