Missing Alabama Man Christian Moore, Found Dead in Burned Car; Woman Faces Murder Charge

A recent court revelation has shed light on the tragic death of Christian Moore, a 23-year-old man from Alabama.

Moore's body was discovered in his burned car, and new evidence reveals he was fatally shot.

Moore was reported missing in the early hours of Thursday, July 11, 2024, from his home in Newbern.

His remains were found on Sunday.

Initially, 24-year-old Aravis Arlexus Thomas was charged with abusing a corpse, tampering with evidence, and first-degree criminal mischief.

However, court records now show that the charges have been updated to include murder.

According to the updated charges, Thomas allegedly shot Moore on that Thursday.

The specific reason behind the shooting has not yet been revealed.

Moore’s 1999 Chevrolet Silverado was found later that day in Dallas County.

The discovery was made by Dallas County sheriff’s deputies who responded to a report of a vehicle on fire just off the road.

The truck was towed to a local wrecking service. It wasn't until deputies learned of Moore’s disappearance that they connected the burned vehicle to him.

District Attorney Robert Turner noted, “It was only after they heard about the missing person did they look into the vehicle and discover the charred remains.”
