A disturbing story has emerged about a grandfather, identified as Dominique P., who allegedly allowed 83 men to rape his wife over a period of ten years while she was unconscious due to drugs.
The shocking revelation has led to a divorce filing by his wife, referred to as Françoise, after 50 years of marriage.
The couple appeared to be ordinary and respected members of their community in the village of Mazan, near Avignon, France.
Evidence presented by the prosecution indicates that Dominique P. was not only complicit in the assaults but also involved in other criminal activities.
The allegations against Dominique P. date back to 1991 when he was accused of murdering a young estate agent.
After relocating to Provence, he allegedly established a disturbing sex ring by advertising on an online forum called 'Without Her Knowing.'
The participants of this forum engaged in discussions about performing non-consensual acts on unsuspecting partners, which were filmed and stored on a USB drive labeled 'Abuses.'
Police eventually obtained this incriminating evidence, leading to the identification of 92 rape cases involving Dominique's wife, Françoise.
Of the 83 identified men involved in the assaults, 51 have been arrested, including individuals from various professions such as civil servants, ambulance workers, soldiers, prison guards, nurses, journalists, municipal councilors, and truck drivers.
The investigation also uncovered evidence of the alleged rape and filming of other family members, including Dominique's daughters-in-law and eldest daughter.
Disturbingly, Dominique is said to have engaged in inappropriate behavior with his grandchildren as well.
In 2020, Dominique's crimes came to light when he was apprehended for illicitly filming customers in a supermarket.
Subsequent searches of his possessions revealed a vast collection of abusive material.
Alongside the charges related to his wife's rape, Dominique is also facing accusations of raping and murdering a 23-year-old estate agent in 1991.
Although he admits to attacking another estate agent eight years later, he denies any involvement in the murder.
The case against Dominique P. and his alleged accomplices is scheduled to go to trial next year.
Prosecutors have built a strong case against him using video and computer evidence, which helped identify the extensive abuse suffered by his wife.
The revelations have devastated Françoise, who described herself as being treated like an object throughout their marriage.
