Woman Shoots Occupants of Sister's Stolen Car After Crash

In a dramatic incident, a woman from Missouri took matters into her own hands when her sister's stolen car crossed paths with her.

The 32-year-old, identified as Francesca Jones, was driving in a St. Louis suburb with three children when she spotted the stolen Dodge Challenger on the road, according to authorities.

Jones wasted no time and pursued the stolen vehicle, which eventually crashed into a truck at an intersection before erupting in flames.

As the Dodge burned, Jones reportedly stepped out of her car and allegedly shot two individuals inside the stolen vehicle.

In response, one of the occupants fired back at her.

The current condition of the gunshot victims remains unclear, as does the nature of the relationship between Jones and the children present during the incident.

When police arrived at the crash site, they arrested Jones and discovered a firearm in the trunk of her car.

Authorities have charged Jones with three counts each of assault, armed criminal action, and endangering the welfare of a child.

Her bond has been set at $750,000.
