Internet Fraudster Stabs His Friend To Death Because He Refused To Give Him His Own share of $3000 Fraud Proceeds

A 22-year-old man named Obinna Ugochukwu has been apprehended by the Imo state police command, in Nigeria following the alleged murder of his friend, Nwachukwu Stanley.

The arrest came after a case of murder was reported at the State Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department (SCIID), prompting the command's forensic experts to conduct an analysis that led to the identification and arrest of the suspect.

Obinna Ugochukwu is a resident of Ikeduru LGA in Imo State.

During the investigation, the suspect confessed to repeatedly stabbing his friend, Nwachukwu Stanley, who hailed from Umuoma in Ikeduru L.G.A of Imo State, with a sharp knife while he was asleep.

The motive behind the brutal act was a disagreement over the distribution of the proceeds from a fraudulent cyber-crime deal, amounting to $3,000.
