Tragic Indictment: Boyfriend of Prominent Skating Social Media influencer, Beauty Katera Couch, Charged With Murder:

In a tragic case, a man accused of fatally stabbing his girlfriend, Instagram influencer Beauty Katera Couch, and then discarding her body in the woods while setting her car on fire, has officially been charged by a Georgia grand jury for various crimes, according to court records.

Eugene Louis-Jocques, a 21-year-old from Florida, has been under police custody since August 25, just a day after Couch was discovered deceased in Cobb County near Atlanta. On October 5, he faced indictment on counts of murder, aggravated assault, second-degree arson, concealing another's death, and tampering with evidence.

Louis-Jocques allegedly used a sharp-edged instrument to inflict multiple upper torso wounds on Couch's body, as per a probable cause arrest affidavit.

The investigation commenced around 12:18 p.m. on August 24 when firefighters from Austell, Georgia, were summoned to extinguish a brush fire. Upon arrival, they found a vehicle fully ablaze, later identified as Couch's. The vehicle was extinguished and transported to a wrecker yard. Austell police traced it back to the residence of its registered owner, Couch, 22, who had last been seen the day prior. She was the primary user of the vehicle.

Austell police scoured the vicinity of the fire's location and discovered Couch's lifeless body near the woodland edge. Louis-Jocques was named a suspect, and an arrest warrant was issued. U.S. Marshals, on August 25, learned of his ties to St. Tammany Parish in Louisiana, located north of New Orleans.

Members of the St. Tammany Parish identified potential hiding spots for Louis-Jocques, and they initiated surveillance, according to a statement from the agency. Around 4:40 p.m., detectives spotted Louis-Jocques driving, conducted a traffic stop, and apprehended him without any resistance.

He was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center, where he was held until being extradited to Georgia several weeks later.

Couch, a popular Instagram figure with over 150,000 followers, frequently shared images of herself engaging in roller skating. Her mother, Kimberly Couch, expressed her bewilderment as to why anyone would want to harm her daughter. She described Beauty as a kind-hearted individual who never caused trouble, was friendly to all, and had a deep passion for skating, work, fashion, and personal appearance.
