Comedian Kevin Hart, Files Lawsuit Against YouTuber Tasha K for Extortion. She Allegedly Demanded $250K To Halt The Release of Ex-Assistant's Tell-All Interview
Kevin Hart, the hilarious comedian known for selling out stadiums, is embroiled in a legal battle with a controversial gossip blogger named Tasha K. Apparently, Tasha K tried to pull a fast one by demanding a quarter-million dollars from Kevin to keep a juicy interview with his ex-assistant under wraps. But Kevin wasn't having it!
The interview, conducted by Tasha K, allegedly contained some spicy (and possibly untrue) details about Kevin's personal life, like infidelity and gambling woes. Tasha K, whose real name is Latasha Transrina Kebe, supposedly threatened to release the interview unless Kevin coughed up the big bucks. Talk about blackmail!
Not one to back down, Kevin sent Tasha K a cease and desist letter, basically saying, "Don't even think about it!" He also filed a lawsuit against both Tasha K and his ex-assistant for extortion, invasion of privacy, and a bunch of other legal jargon. Turns out, Kevin's ex-assistant apparently signed a non-disclosure agreement, so spilling the tea wasn't exactly an option for her.
Tasha K, however, wasn't ready to throw in the towel just yet. She went ahead and published the interview anyway, but only on her subscription-based website. Guess she figured she could at least make some cash off the drama, even if Kevin wouldn't play ball.
Now, the legal battle is heating up, and it'll be interesting to see who comes out on top. Will Kevin silence the gossip once and for all, or will Tasha K keep the juicy details flowing? Stay tuned!
