Florida Man Arrested Multiple Times in One Week: Charges Range from Concealing a Weapon to Death Threats

A Florida man, Hawazin Gridley Wright, was arrested three times within a single week and faces a range of serious charges. The incidents began on November 19th when Wright was arrested for running through a pro-Palestine protest while hiding a knife under his guitar. He faces charges of carrying a concealed weapon, resisting arrest, and traffic obstruction for this incident.

Just five days later, on November 24th, Wright was apprehended again for allegedly possessing drugs and assaulting someone with a deadly weapon. Specific details surrounding this incident are currently limited.
Following his release, Wright was arrested once more on Sunday, November 26th. This time, he was charged with harassing a woman and making death threats after allegedly engaging in antisemitic behavior. Court records indicate he made harassing phone calls and threatened to kill the woman he had been dating, prompting her to end the relationship.
The alleged threats included statements about "punching a Jew in the face" and the woman being a "dead woman walking." While it's unclear if the woman is Jewish or if the antisemitic remarks were directed specifically towards her, court records do not show any hate-crime charges filed against Wright.
Further details about the incidents and Wright's motivations are currently unknown. It remains unclear whether he is still employed as a teacher at Boynton Beach Community High School. At the time of this writing, PEOPLE has been unable to reach his attorney for comment.
