Manhunt Ends with Arrest of Suspect, Jeremy Albert Best in Wife's Murder and Son's Death

In a shocking turn of events, a man suspected of murdering his wife and kidnapping their infant son was found naked and disoriented on the side of a road near his dead child. The man, identified as Jeremy Albert Best, was discovered by a group of hunters who alerted the authorities.

Best's arrest came two days after his wife, Kali Jean Randall, was found unresponsive in their Teton County home. Her death is being investigated as a homicide. Authorities also issued an Amber Alert for their 10-month-old son, Zeke Best, who was found dead near his father.

According to authorities, Best made "odd statements" before being placed in a patrol car and treated for injuries by Idaho Falls Ambulance. He is currently being held in the Bonneville County Jail pending further investigation.
The Bonneville County Sheriff's Office, Idaho State Police, Teton County Sheriff's Office, Idaho Falls Police Department, and the FBI are all assisting in the investigation.
Authorities have not yet released any further information about the case, but they have stated that Best will remain in custody until his arraignment.
Kali's brother, Brian Randall, described her as a "genuine beautiful soul" who worked as a veterinarian technician. He said that he saw Best as a "normal guy" and was unaware of any conflicts between the couple.
