Police in India arrested eight men for allegedly gang-raping a foreign tourist and attacking her husband. The couple, whose names are unknown, were traveling on a motorcycle in the eastern state of Jharkhand when they were found by local police on a roadside.
The woman was taken to a hospital, where she told investigators about the assault.
Dumka police announced on social media that three male suspects were arrested for raping the woman and assaulting her husband. Later, they said a total of eight suspects were in custody.

The couple, who are vloggers with a large following on Instagram, shared details of the incident in a now-deleted video. The National Commission for Women condemned the attack and called for a swift investigation.
