Shocking Details Revealed: Teenage Squatters kill Homeowner's daughter, Stuffed Her Body in Duffel Bag

The individuals behind the murder of a woman who got killed while checking on her late mother's vacant New York apartment were teenage squatters residing there unlawfully, as per the police.

The U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force recently disclosed the arrests of Halley Tejada and Kensly Alston in York, Pennsylvania.

The two suspects connected with the murder were taken into custody Friday morning for the charges of receiving stolen property, as stated in the Marshals Service announcement.

The charges originate from a motor vehicle accident that occurred on March 13, 2024, when the car driven by Kensly Alston collided with another vehicle resulting in an accident in the 5000 block of Jonestown Road, Dauphin County, PA, the statement explained.

Eventually, it was revealed that the vehicle belonged to a murder victim from Kips Bay, NY

The victim of the murder is Nadia Vitels, 52, allegedly killed on or before March 13, 2024, according to a statement by the police in Lower Paxton Township.

Vitels, who had just returned from her Spain trip, had visited the apartment, owned by her late mother, on March 12 to get it ready for a family friend, the New York Post stated.

Upon entering the apartment, accessed directly by an elevator, Vitels reportedly encountered the accused murderers, who supposedly then beat her to death.

Subsequently, they escaped in her Lexus car, driving through New Jersey before arriving in Pennsylvania.

WNBC highlighted that the teenagers were captured on camera exiting the apartment hours after Vitels was seen walking in.

According to the local NBC affiliate WNBC, Vitels was discovered after her son demanded a wellness check.

Accompanied by investigators and the building's supervisor, the victim's son was reportedly the one to find his mother stuffed in a duffel bag and put inside one of the apartment's closets.

The New York Post indicated that the bag was concealed by a coat, with a foot visibly sticking out.

Vitels' body was located in the bag, per the New York Post.

She seemingly endured blunt force trauma to the head, multiple facial fractures, a brain bleed, and two broken ribs.

Tejada is 19 years old, and Alston is 18, as per the New York Post, mentioning police sources.

Alston was allegedly the driver at the time of the crash that prompted law enforcement to take an interest.

She purportedly provided officers with a false name and date of birth!!
