Missing Phoenix Woman, Doris Aguilar, Among 2 Bodies found in Abandoned Car

Authorities have confirmed that a missing woman from earlier this month in Phoenix is dead.

She was one of the two people found shot to death in a west Phoenix parking lot.

The shocking discovery has stunned the community and raised many questions about what led to this tragic event.

One of the victims have been identified as 25-year-old Doris Aguilar.

She was reported missing on July 1.

On July 7, the Maricopa County Medical Examiner confirmed that Doris Aguilar had died and that her body was found on that same day.

While it's thought that Doris was killed before July 7, we won’t know the exact date of her death until the full report from the examiner is finished.

On the evening of Sunday, July 7, around 8:30 p.m., police were called to a steakhouse parking lot at 75th Avenue and Encanto Boulevard.

There, they found two people who had been shot to death inside a car.

Authorities believe the bodies had been in the vehicle for several days before they were discovered.

The second victim was identified as 51-year-old Juan Cuellar.

Authorities have reported that Cuellar took his own life.

Steve Fischer, the private investigator hired by Aguilar’s family, revealed that Cuellar had been stalking Aguilar before her death.

Fischer revealed disturbing information about Cuellar's link to Aguilar.

He found out that Cuellar rented the car where the bodies were found, which implies the car might have been used to trap Aguilar.

The fact that a gun was also found in the car adds another layer of complexity to the case.

Before Cuellar’s death was confirmed, Fischer had been actively looking for him and noticed a disturbing link between where the car was found and Cuellar’s past behavior.

Fischer had been watching that same parking lot, which is shared by a restaurant and Eos Gym, where Aguilar frequently worked out.

He revealed that Cuellar had been stalking Aguilar at this spot.

Phoenix Police Sgt. Rob Scherer emphasized that surveillance video will play a crucial role in piecing together the sequence of events.

The footage could potentially reveal the movements of Aguilar and Cuellar and offer insights into their interactions leading up to the tragic discovery.

Fischer also revealed that a note found at the scene, allegedly written by Cuellar, attempted to stage the crime to look like Aguilar had taken her own life.

This revelation points to a sinister attempt to manipulate the narrative surrounding her death.

The crime scene

There are signs that there could be more crime scenes.

Fischer pointed out that there was no biological evidence in the car indicating that Aguilar was shot there.

This suggests she may have been moved from another location before being placed in the vehicle.

Fischer has promised to keep investigating to uncover all the details of the case.

He has assured Aguilar’s family that he will keep working hard to clear up the situation.

Fischer also reported that Cuellar and Aguilar once worked in the same building until Cuellar was dismissed a year ago.

Despite his dismissal, Cuellar continued to send threatening messages to Aguilar.

Aguilar was reported missing on July 1, and her car was later found abandoned outside the Christown Spectrum shopping center in central Phoenix.

The car was found unlocked with many of her personal belongings still inside.

As detectives continue their investigation into this tragic case, a GoFundMe page has been established to assist Aguilar’s family with funeral expenses.

The community is still reeling from the shock of these events as they wait for more details in this heartbreaking case.
