According to investigators, Robinson had been excited about the date before meeting Anderson on April 1.
Additionally, surveillance footage later showed the pair sitting together at a restaurant bar in Milwaukee that evening.
Cellphone records and tracking data later showed Robinson and Anderson spent several hours together visiting two bars before eventually returning to Anderson’s apartment.
The next morning, investigation quickly intensified after Robinson’s burned car was discovered, but despite investigative efforts, Sade Robinson remained missing.
Days later, a passerby found a severed human leg near Warnimont Park along Lake Michigan in Cudahy, and tragically, authorities later confirmed the remains were believed to belong to Robinson.
Anderson was arrested on April 4 as detectives continued the investigation, while still searching for additional evidence connected to the case,
Weeks later, authorities announced that more human remains believed to belong to Robinson which had washed ashore in near lake Michigan, South Milwaukee.
According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office, a person walking along a remote stretch of beach discovered a torso and an arm before he called the police, as per AP News.

During the investigation, detectives accused Anderson of killing Robinson when the pair returned to his apartment after their date.
They also alleged that he dismembered her body and scattered her remains in different locations around the Milwaukee area, but Anderson maintained he was innocent.
Authorities also accused Anderson of trying to destroy evidence after Robinson’s death by setting her vehicle on fire but Aderson continued to maintain his innocence during the hearing.
Hia defense attorney Tony Cotton acknowledged the severity of the charges and he asked the judge to allow Anderson the possibility of parole after 25 years. He argued that Anderson previously served in the U.S. Navy and struggled with mental health issues.
Cotton also acknowledged Anderson’s prior misdemeanor convictions connected to domestic violence incidents, although he argued they were less serious than the criminal histories commonly seen in homicide cases. He further told the court that he had concerns about Anderson’s safety in prison.
Despite his lawyers plea, Judge Laura Crivello rejected the request for parole eligibility and ordered Anderson to spend the rest of his life in prison.
While delivering the sentence, Crivello described the crimes as “unconscionable” and said the suffering experienced by Robinson’s family was difficult to imagine after learning she had been dismembered.
In addition to the life sentence, Anderson also received 7½ years for mutilating a corpse and 18 months for arson.
Anderson’s sentencing hearing included emotional statements from Robinson’s family as they described the pain caused by her death.
Her mother, Sheena Scarbrough, told the court that Anderson had “messed the entire community up” and said he did not deserve protection while in prison.
Robinson’s father, Carlos Robinson, also spoke during the hearing and described how difficult it had been to cope with the details of the case and the loss of his daughter.
Court records show the charge of hiding a corpse was dismissed after the defense argued Anderson could not legally be convicted of both mutilating and hiding a corpse in the same case.
After Anderson received his sentence, he told the judge that he planned to appeal the convictions and said he hoped true justice would eventually be delivered because he was missing.
According to CNN, Sade Robinson’s head remains missing till date and it was never recovered.
