Jordan Mykol Harding Charged with The Murder of his Wife, Ashley Henning After He Shot And Killed Her On Her Birthday


A woman tragically lost her life during her birthday party when her husband allegedly shot and killed her following an intense altercation.

According to the local news organization News-Enterprise in Hardin County, Kentucky, Jordan Mykol Harding, 33, reportedly fired multiple gunshots at his wife, Ashley Henning, 32, during the celebration. 

Witnesses mentioned that the couple, both active duty service members, had been engaged in a heated argument, which continued despite efforts from party attendees to de-escalate the situation.

In a desperate attempt to protect the children present, neighbors decided to leave the premises. As they were leaving, they heard the sound of multiple gunshots. 

Henning hastily left the scene, driving away from the home.

Law enforcement authorities were promptly dispatched to the residence at 9:47 p.m., and Henning was apprehended shortly after fleeing. 

The arrest citation revealed that the defendant expressed remorse for his actions, acknowledging the harm caused to his wife.

Henning is now facing charges of murder - domestic violence. 

If convicted, he could potentially face a prison sentence ranging from 20 to 50 years or even life imprisonment.

A preliminary hearing for Henning is scheduled for June 30, as indicated by Kentucky court records. 

Presently, he remains in custody at the Harding County Detention Center, as reported on their website.
