FCT Police Arrest Three Bingham University Students Over Bolt Driver's Death

Three students from Bingham University in Abuja have been apprehended by the FCT police command in connection with the tragic death of a bolt driver named Obasi Okeke.

FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Haruna Garba, revealed that on June 5, the lifeless body of the bolt driver was discovered with a slit throat in Ngugu close Area 11 Garki Abuja.

After conducting a meticulous investigation to identify the culprits behind the heinous act, the police arrested the three suspects: Obasieyene Inemesit Inem Aaron, Anthony Alasan Ayomide Olusegun.

Two of the suspects are currently under suspension from Bingham University.

The investigation unveiled that the deceased was called by one of the suspects to transport them to Guzape Area in Abuja for an Indian hemp purchase.

On their way back, they claimed to have no money to pay for the trip and attempted to deceive the driver with a fake debit alert.

When the driver insisted on receiving payment, an argument ensued, and one of the suspects attacked the driver with a knife, slitting his throat before fleeing the scene.

CP Garba stated that all three suspects have confessed to their involvement in the crime and will face legal charges in court soon.
