Desperate Measures: Photographer Bathes with Human Skull In A Ritual To Boost His Business

Franklin Akinyosuyi, a 26-year-old photographer, has confessed to engaging in a bizarre ritual in an attempt to boost his business.

The ritual involved bathing with a human skull for an entire month.

Akinyosuyi, who runs a photography business and owns a clothing store, explained that due to financial difficulties and a lack of customers, he resorted to such rituals.

He said, "My business was struggling, and I sought help from a herbalist last year. I paid him N200,000 to prepare a special concoction for me, as he suggested. He instructed me to bathe with a human head every Thursday at 1 am. I followed his instructions for a month, but there was no improvement in my business. I demanded a refund and asked him to take back the human head, but he refused."

Akinyosuyi went on to narrate how he discarded the skull in his backyard, only for it to be discovered by his landlord's children, leading to his arrest.

The police spokesperson, Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, revealed that Akinyosuyi's suspicious activities prompted his landlord to report him to the authorities.

"The landlord grew suspicious when he found a bag in a corner of the compound. Upon inspection, a human skull was discovered inside," she detailed. "Upon arrest, the suspect claimed that the skull was given to him by a native doctor in Osun state."
