In a very tragic incident, a 33-year-old woman named Rofiat Okewola tragically lost her life after a confrontation with her husband in Ogun State, Nigeria.
The shocking incident unfolded when Rofiat confronted her husband regarding his alleged involvement with another woman.
Earlier reports indicated that the husband, who was a mechanic based in Lagos, had engaged in a heated argument with his wife over financial matters, and he reportedly slammed her head against a wall.
However, according to The Nation, the situation happened differently.
The Nation reported that on August 6, 2023, Rofiat was deeply upset when she discovered her husband making love with another woman.
Filled with anger, Rofiat rushed from her shop to confront her husband and the other woman, but tragically, she did not survive the encounter.
Reports suggest that during the confrontation, her husband dragged her out of the apartment and forcefully slammed her head against the back wall of the building in a fit of rage.

The embattled husband attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended by an angry mob.
The mob expressed strong condemnation for his actions, questioning why he chose violence over other alternatives.
One of Rofiat's friends, Biola (also known as Dasol), revealed that Rofiat was a respected member of the tailors association in their community.
She recounted moments when Rofiat had confided in her about the abuse she suffered at the hands of her husband.
Rofiat leaves behind two young children, aged seven and six.
The circumstances surrounding her tragic death have raised concerns about domestic violence and the safety of women in relationships.
AbdulHamid Akanji, a leader of the tailor association where Rofiat was an active member, called for justice and accountability for her brutal killing.
He emphasized her contributions to the community and the void left by her untimely demise.
The State Police Command's spokesperson, Omotola Odutola, confirmed the incident and arrest of the husband.
