In a tragic turn of events, the boyfriend of Instagram influencer Beauty Couch, 22, has been arrested for her murder.
The investigation began when firefighters responded to a brush fire in Austell, Georgia and discovered a vehicle fully engulfed in flames.
It was later revealed that the vehicle belonged to Couch, who had been missing since Wednesday morning. Her body was found near the wood line, leading authorities to suspect foul play.
Authorities identified Couch's boyfriend, 21-year-old Eugene Louis-Jocques, as a suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest on charges of murder, arson, and aggravated assault.
With the help of U.S. Marshals, Louis-Jocques was apprehended in Louisiana, where he had ties to the St. Tammany Parish.
He was taken into custody without incident and is currently awaiting extradition to Georgia.
