Troops from Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) have apprehended the alleged killer of Mrs. Dorathy Jonathan, a housewife who tragically lost her life while bravely resisting a sexual assault in Southern Kaduna.
According to a statement by Captain Oya James, the OPSH spokesperson, the murder suspect, Lot Dauda, was captured as a result of a thorough manhunt initiated by troops, driven by reliable intelligence information.
The statement was released on Thursday, September 14, 2023.
The statement emphasized the commitment of Major General AE Abubakar, the Commander of Operation SAFE HAVEN, to ensure that all individuals responsible for criminal acts in Southern Kaduna and its surroundings face justice. This action followed a stakeholder engagement held on September 10, 2023.
