A TikTok influencer has found herself sentenced to over 30 years in prison for the tragic murder of two men. This horrifying incident stemmed from a blackmail attempt after one of the victims threatened to reveal a love affair with the influencers mother through a compromising sex tape.
Mahek Bukhari, a 24-year-old content creator, and her mother, Ansreen Bukhari, aged 46 (both pictured above), were visibly emotional as they faced sentencing for their involvement in the deaths of Saqib Hussain and Mohammed Hashim Ijazuddin in February of last year.
Their sinister plan involved luring 21-year-old Saqib Hussain to a meeting where they intended to buy his silence, offering £3,000, an amount he claimed to have spent during their three-year-long affair.
However, their intentions took a dark turn as they arrived with six accomplices in two vehicles, an Audi TT and a Seat Leon, with the aim to ambush him and coerce him into surrendering the phone containing explicit videos and photos.
Mr. Hussain arrived at the designated car park with his friend, Mr. Ijazuddin, also 21, who had kindly agreed to give him a ride to Leicester as a favor in a Skoda Fabia.
CCTV footage captured the Skoda Fabia's arrival and hasty departure from the car park, followed by the Audi TT and Seat Leon two minutes later.
This marked the beginning of a dangerous car chase, with forensic collision experts later revealing that the Audi reached speeds of up to 100mph. Although the Skoda's speed during the crash was not recorded on CCTV, estimates suggest it exceeded 80mph.
In a frantic 999 call made just moments before the crash, Mr. Hussain desperately informed the police of being pursued and "rammed" by masked attackers.
His plea for help was heart-wrenching, saying, "They're trying to ram us off the road. Please, I'm begging you, I'm going to die."
Tragically, the call ended abruptly with a loud impact, followed by silence.

The crash itself was catastrophic, with the Skoda Fabia colliding with a tree at the Six Hills junction in the early hours. The vehicle split in two and burst into flames, resulting in the tragic loss of two lives.
Following a lengthy deliberation by the jurors, Mahek Bukhari, a prominent YouTuber and TikTok sensation, and her mother were found guilty of two counts of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment.
Mahek received a minimum term of 31 years, while her mother Ansreen faces a minimum of 26 years behind bars.
Additional defendants in this gruesome case, including Rekhan Karwan, 29, and Raees Jamal, 23, were also sentenced to life imprisonment, with minimum terms ranging from 10 months to 31 years.
Natasha Akhtar, 23, received an 11-year and eight-month sentence, while Ameer Jamal, 28, and Sanaf Gulamustafa, 23, were each sentenced to 14 years and eight months and 14 years and nine months, respectively, for two counts of manslaughter.
