Video - Shocking Security Camera Footage Reveals Home Intruder Sleeping in Young Mom's Bedroom

In a startling incident captured by a security camera, an intruder unlawfully entered the home of a young mother in Scotland. What's even more chilling is that the intruder proceeded to enter her bedroom and took a nap, leaving the homeowner in a state of shock and fear.

The 22-year-old terrified homeowner, Caitlin Sullivan, was away at a friend's house when she received an alert from the camera in her bedroom. Alarmed by the notification, she checked the footage, only to be horrified by the sight of an unknown individual climbing into her bed, where she typically shares it with her baby for naps.

This unsettling intrusion occurred on August 29th at 7:45 am.

In response, Caitlin, who works part-time as a carer, immediately contacted the police and met them at her residence. Although the mysterious sleeper was removed from her home, Caitlin claims that the intruder was never arrested.

The traumatic experience has left Caitlin too frightened to return to her home. She has only been back to clean, fearing the intruder's potential return.

Caitlin, who resides in Sauchie, Clackmannanshire, expressed her shock and bewilderment, saying, "I couldn't believe my eyes. I was so shocked - I didn't know who he was. I couldn't believe there was a man in my bed. I don't understand how he got into my house. I haven't been staying in the house since. I never want to go back to that house. It's the fact that both me and my little boy sleep in that bed. If I was there, he would probably have climbed into my bed and slept next to me."

A day after the incident, Caitlin received a peculiar Facebook message from the intruder. In the message, the intruder expressed gratitude for allowing him to rest in her home and offered an apology.

He mentioned, "To give you my sincere apologies, I don't keep well. Thank you for letting me put my head down for three hours, hope." Strangely, he concluded the message with, "hope to meet you one day."

Caitlin is perplexed by how the man discovered her name and is now actively seeking to move, driven by her fear of returning home. She expressed her concerns about the intruder potentially coming back, especially since no legal action was taken against him.

She stated, "I am scared to stay in my house now because of my little boy. My neighbors said the man was trying to get into my house the night before around 10 pm - he was seen screaming and shouting."

According to a statement from Police Scotland, officers responded to a report of someone inside the house but found no evidence of criminality.

They spoke with Caitlin and have not received any further complaints or reports related to the incident.

Meanwhile in another harrowing and violent three-state crime spree, a man met his demise, leaving behind a trail of terror that encompassed murder, kidnapping, carjacking, and a hostage situation at a gas station. See detailed story here.
