Florida Man, Darrell Davidson Arrested for Forcefully Entering Woman's Home, and Making an Unsual Request

 

A Florida guy is now in jail for forcefully breaking into a woman's house, as per the Marion County Sheriff's Office.

Darrell Davidson got arrested and charged with criminal mischief after an incident that went down on Friday, based on an arrest affidavit.

The 39-year-old guy was causing a ruckus outside a woman's home, yelling and acting aggressively, as per deputies. When he was denied entry, he attempted to kick the front door open. On the second kick, Davidson broke the door frame, and the door swung open.

Once inside, Davidson simply sat on the woman's couch, as reported by deputies. The woman mentioned that he didn't attempt any criminal actions while in her house, but he did ask for water and something to smoke.

Shortly afterward, Davidson became agitated once again, resumed his shouting, and then left the woman's house, according to the affidavit.

It's not clear whether Davidson and the woman were acquainted. The man was taken into custody at his nearby home. Deputies noted that he spontaneously claimed he kicked the woman's door in because he believed she was in danger.

Davidson is currently held at the Marion County Jail on a $1,000 bond.
