Keefe D's Accusations: Did Diddy Pay $1 Million for Tupac's Hit?

In a startling twist, the individual accused of involvement in the murder of Tupac Shakur, Keefe D, has made sensational claims implicating hip-hop icon Diddy, also known as Sean Combs. Keefe D, who appeared in a Las Vegas court regarding the murder case, has alleged that Diddy orchestrated and paid a staggering $1 million for Tupac's assassination.

These shocking allegations have emerged in various forms, including Keefe D's book, social media interviews, and even a secret police interview with the LAPD. Notably, Keefe D, whose real name is Duane Davis, asserted that Diddy not only targeted Tupac but also record label mogul Suge Knight.

Representatives for Diddy have refrained from commenting on these allegations, though Diddy himself has previously dismissed any involvement in Tupac's demise as "nonsense."

Further revelations come from another former gangster of that era, James McDonald, previously known as Mob James. He corroborates the rumors surrounding Diddy and associates at Death Row Records allegedly placing a bounty on Suge and Tupac. This heightened tension stemmed from the rivalry between Bad Boy Records on the East Coast and Death Row Records on the West Coast.

James explained, "Diddy was scared of Suge. New York wasn't going to come down there and try to find Suge." He emphasized that when the tragic events unfolded, both sides felt compelled to retaliate due to the escalating conflict. This ongoing feud led to dire consequences that neither Tupac nor Biggie anticipated.

According to James, many individuals faced threats on their lives during this turbulent period. Consequently, they had to take drastic measures to ensure their safety. Violence and even taking lives became commonplace as tensions flared.

In an LAPD interview recording, Keefe D seemingly implicates Diddy by suggesting that Diddy contacted an associate named Eric Von Zip shortly after Tupac's shooting to inquire about their involvement. Keefe D's legal agreements at the time prevented him from prosecution based on these claims.

Keefe D further asserts that Diddy expressed satisfaction upon learning that their group was behind Tupac's shooting. He even claims that Diddy paid the fee for the assassination to Zip, who allegedly kept the money for himself.

Keefe D's book, "Compton Street Legend," offers additional insights into the alleged conspiracy. He recounts a conversation with Diddy, who expressed a desire to eliminate both Suge Knight and Tupac. According to Keefe D, Diddy said, "I have a couple of problems I need to be handled. Big CEO [Suge Knight] and Pac."

The animosity between Diddy and Tupac escalated when the latter joined Death Row Records and accused Diddy and fellow rapper Biggie Smalls of involvement in a previous shooting incident. This intensified the rivalry between their respective record labels.

Witnesses have also spoken about Diddy's longstanding feud with Suge and Tupac in a recent grand jury hearing held in Las Vegas as part of Keefe's case. These witnesses shed light on the deep-seated tensions that played a role in the tragic events.

While these allegations have surfaced, it remains essential to recognize that they are claims made by individuals involved in a complex and tumultuous era of hip-hop history. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and representatives for Diddy have chosen not to comment on these allegations.
