Las Vegas Woman, Hailey McNally Accused of Fleecing "Sugar Daddy" in Hotel Heist

In Las Vegas, a woman is facing some serious charges after she left her "sugar daddy" at a concert, broke into his hotel room, and stole over $50,000 from him, according to what the cops are saying.

On that fateful Sunday, October 15, the police got a call from Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino. A man in his 50s was quite upset and reported that he'd fallen victim to a grand larceny.

This guy mentioned that he'd met a woman in her 20s named Hailey McNally through a dating site called "Seeking Arrangement" about five weeks ago. They had talked online, and he'd been calling himself a "sugar daddy." He set it up for McNally to hang out with him for the weekend in Las Vegas.

He told the police that he'd promised McNally $2,500 for the weekend, but even though they'd talked about it, nothing happened in the intimacy department. So, they met at Caesars Palace on Friday, October 13, and he handed over the cash. They did a bit of pool and had dinner, where this guy got quite drunk.

Later, McNally helped him to bed and took off for the night. She came back the next morning and joined him and his friends, who were busy gambling at the pool. He gave her $400, which she managed to turn into around $3,100 through her own gambling skills.

After their time at the pool, McNally asked if she could stash her purse in his hotel room's safe. He shared the code with her, and she put her bag in there alongside his stuff, including a whopping $50,000 in cash and $7,000 in casino chips.

The night of October 14, McNally, the man, and his buddies went to a U2 concert at Sphere. While they were enjoying the show, McNally mentioned she needed to use the restroom.

She disappeared for about 15 minutes, and when the man texted her to check if everything was okay, she didn't bother to respond. Then, after about 50 minutes of her absence, he called the hotel's security to lock down his room. When he got back and opened the safe, he was in for a shock – it was empty.

The hotel's surveillance footage showed McNally entering the 24th floor around 9:30 p.m., which was half an hour after she said she was off to the restroom. A few minutes later, she was seen getting back into the elevator with bags in tow.

McNally was taken into custody on October 17. She told the police that during the concert, the man was being "sexually aggressive" and making her uncomfortable by touching her inappropriately.

According to her side of the story, she left the concert, returned to the hotel room, and grabbed her stuff, which included the casino chips. She denied taking any cash from the safe.

During a search of her apartment, the police found $11,700 in cash and $5,200 in casino chips.

McNally is now facing charges for grand larceny of more than $25,000 but less than $100,000, which are both felonies. She got released on bail and is expected to appear in court on November 22.
