Maryland Circuit Court Judge Andrew Wilkinson Fatally Shot Outside Residence in Maryland


A tragic incident occurred in Maryland as a circuit court judge was fatally shot outside his residence on Thursday evening, as confirmed by the Washington County Sheriff's Office. 

The victim, identified as 52-year-old Washington County Circuit Court Judge Andrew Wilkinson, was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds in the driveway of his Hagerstown, Maryland, home.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office responded to a distress call regarding a shooting at the 19100 block of Olde Waterford Road around 8 p.m. on Thursday. 

Upon arrival, Wilkinson was found with apparent gunshot injuries in the driveway. He was rushed to Meritus Medical Center but succumbed to his injuries.

As of Friday morning, law enforcement authorities have yet to identify any suspects or make any arrests, and the motive behind the tragic incident remains unclear.
