Bathroom Dispute Ends in Tragedy in Arizona As Man, Yaaliyah E. Jackson, Fatally Stab Sister’s Friend With Butcher Knife

 

An 18-year-old guy from Arizona got himself in some big trouble over the weekend. He ended up in cuffs for stabbing his sister's friend, a 53-year-old dude named Zsolt Csaszar. 

The reason? Well, this whole mess started because Zsolt was taking too long in the bathroom after a shower. Yaaliyah E. Jackson got arrested on a Saturday and is now facing a second-degree murder charge.

The police got a call around 5 p.m. on October 21 about a fight and a stabbing at The Elevate at South Mountain apartment complex. It turns out the guy who called was Yaaliyah. He said he had a fight with Zsolt inside the apartment, and he had to "drop him." 

When the cops arrived, they found Zsolt in the bedroom with a bunch of stab wounds. Sadly, he didn't make it.

The police even found a butcher knife on top of Zsolt's body. Court papers say that Yaaliyah was subletting the apartment from his sister. She asked him to let her friend, Zsolt, stay for a few days. Zsolt and Yaaliyah had never met before that day.

So, Zsolt took a shower at the apartment, and when he was done, Yaaliyah asked him to get his stuff out of the bathroom. Zsolt told him to wait, and things got ugly real fast. According to Yaaliyah, Zsolt pushed him, so he went to the kitchen and grabbed a knife. 

He said he just wanted to scare Zsolt, but he felt threatened because Zsolt got in his face. Yaaliyah admitted that he hit Zsolt in the head with the knife and then stabbed him a bunch of times.

Now, here's the kicker: Yaaliyah is a big guy, standing at 6'4" and weighing 230 pounds, while Zsolt was much smaller at 5'6" and 205 pounds. Yaaliyah claimed Zsolt never had a weapon during the whole thing. After the stabbing, Yaaliyah called his sister to tell her what went down and that he had killed Zsolt.

As of now, Yaaliyah is sitting in the Maricopa County Jail, with a hefty $1,000,000 bond. His next court appearance is on Friday.
