Video: Father, Bladimy Mathurin and Stepson, Chinwai Mode Gunned Down in Brooklyn Apartment Hallway By Neighbour Over Noise Pollution

A chilling video has surfaced, capturing the horrifying moment when a neighbor, driven to madness, cold-heartedly took the lives of a father and his stepson during a dispute over noise in a Brooklyn apartment hallway on a Sunday night.

The distressing footage, acquired by The Post, begins with an individual dressed in all black angrily pacing outside the apartment of their upstairs neighbors on the fourth floor of 1418 Brooklyn Ave. in East Flatbush.

A woman emerges from the apartment and engages in a heated exchange with the neighbor. A little later, her son, identified by the police as 27-year-old Chinwai Mode, joins the scene. Unfortunately, due to the absence of audio in the video, the exact words spoken during this encounter remain unknown.

Shortly after, Mode's stepfather, Bladimy Mathurin, a 47-year-old school bus driver, emerges from the apartment, holding a pair of scissors, and confronts the irate neighbor with anger.

Despite his wife's attempts to intervene, Mathurin pushes her away. The situation takes a dark turn when the neighbor in black produces a handgun and points it at Mathurin. Though Mathurin notices the gun, he dismisses it and turns to walk back to his apartment. In that moment, the neighbor opens fire, injuring Mathurin, who falls to the ground.

Mode, still in the hallway, attempts to escape from the assailant, but the neighbor shoots at him multiple times, even after he has collapsed in a pool of blood near a staircase.

The neighbor then returns to Mathurin, who is still alive and struggling to rise, and shoots him execution-style on his own doorstep. The video contains graphic content, and some portions have been redacted by The Post.

After taking the lives of the two men, the neighbor casually observes the gruesome scene before calmly stepping into an elevator. As of Tuesday morning, the police have not publicly disclosed the identity of the suspect, who is still at large.

Paramedics responding to the apartment building found Mathurin and Mode dead, succumbing to multiple gunshot wounds to the head and torso, according to the police.

Marie Delille, Mathurin's inconsolable wife, revealed that her family, originally from Haiti, had been embroiled in a years-long noise dispute with their downstairs neighbor. On that fateful Sunday night, the fed-up neighbor began banging on his ceiling in response to the loud noises supposedly emanating from Mathurin and Delille's apartment.

Mathurin responded by banging back, which led the neighbor to rush upstairs and kick the family's front door, as per Delille's account. She stated, "This man hates us with every bone in his body," when speaking to CBS New York about the neighbor.

As seen in the surveillance video and confirmed by the police, Mathurin engaged in an argument with the neighbor and appeared to threaten him with a pair of scissors, which ultimately led to the suspect opening fire.

However, Delille vehemently maintained that her husband was not at fault. She exclaimed, "My husband had no gun, no weapon. Why did you bring a gun to shoot my family? Why would you bring a gun to tear my family apart? Why? Why?" according to ABC 7 NY.

She further revealed that the neighbor fired nine shots at her husband and son in front of their 10-year-old daughter. Mathurin worked two jobs, driving a school bus during the day and working as an Uber driver on the side to support their four children. In his spare time, he was passionate about bodybuilding.
