In a shocking revelation, Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing serious allegations from his former girlfriend, Cassie, involving rape, sex trafficking, and sustained physical abuse spanning a decade.
Diddy and R&B artist Cassie shared a 10-year relationship, concluding in 2018 when Cassie tied the knot with her personal trainer, Alex Fine.
According to the lawsuit filed on November 16 in Federal District Court in Manhattan, Cassie, also known as Casandra Ventura, claims that Combs exposed her to a lifestyle marked by excessive alcohol and substance abuse. The suit further asserts that Diddy coerced her into engaging in sexual activities with multiple male prostitutes while he recorded the encounters. The legal action names Bad Boy Records, Bad Boy Entertainment, Epic Records, and Combs Enterprises as co-defendants.
The alleged relationship between Diddy and Cassie began in 2005 when she was 19 and he was 37, coinciding with the rapper signing the singer to his label, Bad Boy Records.
In a statement, Ventura expressed, "After years in silence and darkness, I am finally ready to tell my story and to speak up on behalf of myself and other women facing violence and abuse in their relationships. The looming expiration of New York's Adult Survivors Act prompted me to share the trauma I'll be recovering from for the rest of my life."
In response, Diddy's lawyer, Ben Brafman, vehemently denied the accusations, labeling them as offensive and outrageous. Brafman revealed that Combs had been dealing with persistent demands from Ventura for $30 million, threatening to write a damaging book about their relationship—a demand flatly rejected as blatant blackmail. Despite retracting the initial threat, Ventura has now resorted to filing a lawsuit filled with baseless and outrageous lies, attempting to tarnish Diddy's reputation and seeking financial compensation.
Douglas Wigdor, Ventura's lawyer, disclosed that discussions between the parties occurred before the lawsuit was filed. According to Wigdor, Combs offered Ventura a significant sum—eight figures—to silence her and prevent the lawsuit. However, she firmly rejected his efforts.
