A 23-year-old New Jersey man has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with the fatal shootings of three family members, authorities announced on Monday.
Om Brahmbhatt is accused of shooting and killing Dilipkumar Brahmbhatt, 72, Bindu Brahmbhatt, 72, and Yashkumar Brahmbhatt, 38, in their South Plainfield home, according to a joint statement from the South Plainfield Police Department and the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office.
The incident occurred on Monday morning when officers responded to a report of shots fired at the Brahmbhatt residence.
