Thai Groom Opens Fire on Family and Guests Before Killing Himself On His Wedding Day

In a shocking turn of events, a wedding in Thailand turned into a tragedy when the groom shot and killed his bride, her mother, her younger sister, and another guest before taking his own life. The incident occurred just hours after the couple had exchanged vows.

The groom, Chaturong Suksuk, 29, and his bride, Kanchana Pachunthuek, 44, had been together for three years before marrying. The wedding ceremony took place on Saturday morning, followed by a reception later that evening.

Witnesses reported that Suksuk appeared unhappy during the reception and left abruptly at some point.

He returned shortly after with a gun and began shooting, killing his bride, her mother, her younger sister, and another guest. Another guest was seriously injured in the shooting.

After killing his family members, Suksuk turned the gun on himself and died instantly.

Police are still investigating the motive for the shooting, but they believe that there may have been an argument between the couple earlier in the day.

The tragedy has left the community in shock and disbelief.
