Video: Tragic Brawl at Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School in North Carolina Leaves One Student Dead and Another Hospitalized


A violent altercation at Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School in North Carolina resulted in the death of one student and the hospitalization of another.

The incident began when two students, one wearing a gray hoodie and a black jacket, and the other wearing a red hoodie, got into a physical confrontation. 

The altercation escalated as the two students moved into the school gymnasium, followed by a crowd of onlookers filming the incident on their phones.

During the brawl, one student pulled out a knife and stabbed the other student in the leg and groin. The victim was later pronounced dead, while the other student was hospitalized for their injuries.


Police arrested a suspect in connection with the incident, but the motive for the altercation remains unclear. The identities of the students involved have not been released.

The school was placed on lockdown following the incident, and students were dismissed under controlled conditions.

Superintendent Robert Taylor expressed his condolences to the victim's family and pledged to review the school's safety protocols.

Classes at Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School were canceled for the following day.
