Kimberlee Singler, a Colorado Mom on the Run for Children's Deaths Arrested in London

A mother wanted in connection with the heartbreaking deaths of her two children and the injuring of another has been caught in London. Kimberlee Singler, 35, was arrested in Kensington, west London, on Saturday after a manhunt spanning across the Atlantic.

Facing extradition back to the U.S., Singler appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday and remains in custody until January 29th. According to reports, she refused to consent to being returned to Colorado.

The charges against Singler are chilling: four counts of first-degree murder, two counts of attempted murder, child abuse, and assault. This stems from a horrific incident in Colorado Springs on December 19th, where authorities responded to a reported burglary.

Instead, they found a scene of unimaginable tragedy. Singler and her 11-year-old daughter, both injured, were alongside the lifeless bodies of her two younger children, a 9-year-old daughter and a 7-year-old son.

The surviving daughter, thankfully, is recovering well and safe with authorities. Details of the incident remain shrouded in mystery, with initial reports of a burglary later deemed false.

Adding to the complexity, it emerged that Singler was locked in a custody battle with her former husband, Kevin Wentz. Full custody was granted to her, but a court order mandated the children be dropped off with Wentz on December 16th. She never showed up, sparking the frantic search.

In the midst of this unimaginable tragedy, Singler's family issued a statement: "Our focus is on God and healing, and protecting our surviving niece. Please remember the innocence involved. We pray for all involved for peace and answers."
