Vince McMahon, Former WWE Chief, Confronted with New Allegations after Late Ashley Massaro Accuses Him of Sexual Predation in Pre-death Statement
In a recent celebrity news, Vince McMahon, the former head of WWE, is under fire once again with fresh allegations surfacing about his conduct during his tenure at the wrestling organization. Earlier this year, McMahon stepped down from his role as Executive Chairman of TKO amidst accusations of sex trafficking, which he vehemently denied.
Recently, attention has been drawn to a new revelation related to the tragic death of former WWE star Ashley Massaro. Massaro took her own life in 2019, eight months after her lawsuit against WWE, where she claimed that head injuries sustained during her wrestling career led to her depression, was dismissed.
According to a report by Vice, a previously undisclosed statement made by Massaro before her death sheds light on further alleged misconduct by McMahon, particularly concerning Massaro herself.
In 2016, Massaro claimed that she was drugged and sexually assaulted by members of the US Armed Forces during a WWE tour of Kuwait in 2006. She also accused McMahon of abuse and asserted that WWE discouraged her from reporting the assault.
In response to Massaro's suicide, WWE released a statement denying any prior knowledge of her allegations. However, Massaro's new statement alleges that McMahon not only preyed on female wrestlers but also retaliated against her on-screen after she rejected his advances.
It is claimed that McMahon frequently manipulated storylines to tarnish the reputations of those who crossed him, a pattern of behavior for which he has become notorious.
Additionally, former WWE executive John Laurinaitis has been implicated in the lawsuit, with allegations that McMahon and other WWE executives were aware of Massaro's claims.
These new revelations have sent shockwaves through the true crime community, prompting renewed scrutiny of McMahon's conduct and his handling of allegations within WWE.
