When apprehended by police, a loaded handgun was found in his vehicle. A subsequent search also revealed a loaded assault rifle stored in the trunk.

Authorities, citing potential danger, obtained a gun violence restraining order and proceeded to Mr. Beck's residence to temporarily seize any firearms or ammunition. Upon arrival, officers encountered a strong gas odor emanating from the house.
Investigation revealed that all stove burners were left lit on high settings. Additionally, the chimneys and fireplace were found plugged, and several cell phones were scattered throughout the house. Authorities suspect Mr. Beck may have intended to ignite a fire remotely using the cellphones.
Thankfully, the intervention by law enforcement prevented any injuries or property damage. Mr. Beck currently remains in custody at Elmwood Men's Jail, awaiting his court hearing scheduled for April 10th.
