Michigan Prisoner Faces Life Sentence for Alleged Murder of Cellmate


A disturbing incident has shaken a Michigan prison. 

Michael Ketchum, a 46-year-old inmate, now faces a first-degree murder charge for the alleged killing of his cellmate on October 18th, 2022.

According to reports, the violence unfolded on a single day. 

Ketchum is accused of stabbing another inmate during breakfast. 

Later, a horrifying discovery was made – Ketchum's cellmate was found tied up and fatally stabbed, hidden under the bed.

Ketchum's upcoming court appearance is on April 1st. 

If convicted, he could face life in prison without the possibility of parole.
